I absolutely cannot recommend Alyssa enough. I exclusively breast fed my first two babies with a breeze, so when I was facing difficulty doing so with my twins, I felt extremely defeated and didn’t know what to do. My midwifery group referred me to Alyssa and I am SO grateful that they did.
Alyssa was patient, strategic, and you can tell that she was extremely knowledgeable. By the end of our time together, I felt extremely hopeful and motivated. The work towards my goal was in no way easy (which she made very clear), but she made it possible through her support and guidance.
The only regret I have was not having her support sooner!

Alyssa is incredible! She’s super supportive of your goals and really cares about you meeting your BF goals through supporting you and helping you get there realistically. She came to my house to observe and improve my girls’ latch and to look at my pump flange fitting. I really wanted to understand HOW breastfeeding works and she knows so much about it and did a great job of explaining it through these very understandable analogies. She will even answer my text message questions and celebrate my successes. She even had a virtual call with me to answer questions. I really wish Lc support was longer than 6 weeks because I still haven’t met all my goals (it’s so hard to Bf!) but I’m sooooo grateful for Alyssa. Not sure I could have done all that I’ve done without her help!

I am so grateful for Alyssa’s help as a lactation consultant during those challenging first weeks with my baby. As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed by latching issues, low milk supply, and even vasospasm pain. Alyssa was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive as she took the time to listen to my concerns, assess my baby’s latch, and gave me practical, step-by-step guidance that made a real difference.
Breastfeeding is not always easy, but Alyssa’s encouragement and hands-on advice gave me the confidence to keep going. I can’t recommend her enough to any parent struggling with their LO.
